Brisingr App Studio ("we", "us") builds Stride ("the app"). This policy explains what data the app uses and how. Stride is designed to keep your data on your device.
With your permission, Stride reads your step count from Apple Health to calculate how many minutes of app time you've earned. Access is read-only. Stride never writes data to Apple Health. Manually entered Health steps are excluded from earned minutes. Your Health data is processed on your device and is never sent to us, never used for advertising or marketing, and never shared or sold.
Stride uses Apple's Screen Time framework only to block the apps you choose and to re-lock them when your earned time runs out. Apple's framework is privacy-protected and one-directional: Stride cannot see which apps you use, your browsing, or your Screen Time numbers. It can only display Apple-rendered Screen Time summaries to you; even the app itself cannot read those numbers. Your app selections are stored only on your device.
Your chosen display name, app selections, earned/used minutes, step history, and preferences are stored locally on your device and in a private app group shared only with Stride's own extensions. This data is not transmitted to us.
Purchases are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription entitlements, such as whether you have Stride Pro. RevenueCat may process purchase information and a randomized app/device identifier to deliver this service. See RevenueCat's privacy policy and Apple's privacy policy. We do not receive your name, email, or payment details from Apple.
Stride sends local notifications, such as session reminders, from your device. These are not sent through our servers.
We do not collect accounts, contacts, location, advertising identifiers, or analytics about your in-app behavior. We have no login.
Stride is not directed to children under 13. If Stride is used by a minor under a Family Sharing organizer, the organizer is responsible for that use.
You can revoke Apple Health or Screen Time access anytime in iOS Settings. You can delete all locally stored data by deleting the app.
We may update this policy; we'll change the "Last updated" date above.

By downloading or using Stride, you agree to these terms.
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use Stride on Apple devices you own or control, per the App Store Terms of Service.
Stride links your step activity to access to apps you choose to lock. It relies on Apple frameworks, including HealthKit, Screen Time / Family Controls, Device Activity, and your device. We don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and app-blocking behavior depends on Apple's systems.
Stride offers a free tier, lock one app, and Stride Pro, unlimited apps, categories, and websites, available as Monthly, Yearly, and Lifetime options. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID. Auto-renewing subscriptions renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in App Store - your account - Subscriptions. Prices are shown in the app before purchase and may vary by region. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable; refund requests are handled by Apple.
Don't misuse, reverse engineer, or attempt to disrupt the app beyond what law permits.
Stride is a motivation and focus tool, not a medical device. Consult a professional before starting any exercise program. Step counts are estimates provided by Apple Health and may be inaccurate.
Stride is provided "as is" without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Brisingr App Studio is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app.
We may update these terms; continued use means you accept the updated terms.
